Prove your membrane holds its rating before the cartridge is wound

Pore size distribution and bubble point on RO, UF and MF membrane and finished cartridges, from 0.01 µm.

Model: MPA-100 Pro Micropore · Industry: Water Purification

Technology principle

Membrane ratings are written as a nominal figure, but performance is decided by the largest through-pore and by how tightly the distribution clusters around the mean. Bubble point is what determines whether a 0.2 µm cartridge is actually 0.2 µm. Distribution is what tells you whether a sheet is uniformly tight or merely acceptable at its worst measured point — and only one of those survives a scale-up.

Applications

  • Flat-sheet QC before assembly
  • Finished cartridge verification
  • Hollow fibre module work
  • Incoming and competitor benchmarking

Key capabilities

  • Lightweight, compact and ergonomically engineered, the M19 Micropore Analyzer (MPA-100) pairs a 15" capacitive touchscreen with enhanced pressure- and flow-control hardware, so operators run a full water purification test sequence with minimal training and markedly shorter cycle times. Available in aluminum or stainless-steel variants, it ships with real-time remote support, USB connectivity and remote-control automation. Domestic manufacturing in India and the USA keeps maintenance cost and downtime low, and a 2-year extended warranty is available.
  • Modern, low-training user interface
  • Lightweight and portable chassis
  • IP65 rated · GAMP 5 compliant
  • Three secure user levels — Operator, Supervisor and Administrator
  • Versatile connectivity — USB, Ethernet and Wireless LAN
  • Flexible reporting — built-in thermal printer or network / PDF / CSV export

Frequently asked questions

Can it test a wound spiral module or only flat sheet?

Flat sheet and short modules are straightforward. A full-size spiral element needs a chamber built for it — discuss the format with us and we will confirm what is practical for your geometry.

How does this relate to the integrity test we already run in production?

Your production integrity test is a pass/fail against a stored limit. Porometry is what establishes where that limit should sit, by measuring the actual pore distribution the limit is meant to police. Labs typically use porometry to set and periodically re-validate the production limit.
